Hi my welcome to Saydea Cultural Arts Collective. My name is Starr and I am native to Atlanta, Ga. I created Saydea which is named after my Grandmother Say, and my Great Grandmother Madea to honor them, keep their spirit alive, and continue to build my ancestors legacy. Out of my passion for the arts and more specifically, to my strong interest in music Saydea was created! I have always wanted to sing and my dream has never left me. As an adult I discovered that I love traveling and experiencing the culture and diversity of other countries. I’m a USAF Veteran, retired Pediatric Registered Nurse, and Berklee College of Music Alumni.
